Make A Mug  group classes will be run by the legends from Clay Wollongong. 

In this two hour class, you’ll be joined by one of our amazing ceramicists to learn how to create your very own ceramic master piece. 

What you will make

These sessions are based off Clay Wollongong's Mugalicious classes, where you will focus on form and texture to make your mug your own way using a slab technique. After your class, we’ll glaze them in a white gloss glaze and fire them for you, and have them ready for pickup approximately 4 weeks later.

Once fired and glazed, your pieces will be completely functional.  Perfect for the microwave, or dishwasher.

What will your piece look like? It might be a bit ‘organic’ and ‘perfectly imperfect’ but it will be 100% handmade by you. All finished off in a white gloss glaze applied by our expert studio technicians so your piece will be fully functional and ready to use.

Drinks and Food 

This class is BYO! You’re more than welcome to bring along a drink or two and any snacks you want to nibble on during the class.

(Please do make sure you bring all the goodies you may need including cups, plates, ect.)
