Alanna Askew is the owner and facilitator of Made Askew, a ceramic artist and experienced primary educator with over nine years of teaching experience in Australia and internationally. Inspired by nature, curiosity and the small details often overlooked, Alanna’s workshops are grounded in research-led, inquiry-based learning and a strong belief in hands-on, exploratory play. Working with natural and often unpredictable materials like wild clay, she encourages process over product, supporting children to experiment, build skills and discover their own creative voice in a calm, nurturing environment.
